Sample Preparation Guide
1. Clean Water Samples

- Filtered atmospheric-smoke solutions
can generally be directly injected according to the manual.
2. Wastewater & Surface Water

Samples containing higher levels of impurities should be pretreated before injection. Pretreatment columns or SPE cartridges can be selected according to the matrix.
3. Sample Filtration

If a water sample cannot be analyzed on the sampling day, the manual recommends filtration using a 0.22 μm membrane to reduce changes caused by bacterial growth.
