Oxygen Nitrogen Hydrogen Analyzer
The Oxygen Nitrogen Hydrogen Analyzer(ONH Analyzer) is a precision instrument that uses an inert gas fusion-infrared/thermal conductivity method to accurately measure the oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen content in solid materials. It is widely used in fields such as metallurgy, advanced materials, and aerospace. It is a key quality control instrument used to monitor harmful hydrogen embrittlement in steel, optimize the mechanical properties of titanium alloys, and ensure the quality of 3D printing metal powders and semiconductor materials, fundamentally guaranteeing the safety and reliability of materials.

• Oxygen:0.00001%-5%
• Nitrogen: 0.00001%-20%
• Hydrogen: 0.00001%~0.15%
How Does a Oxygen Nitrogen Hydrogen Analyzer Work?
- Weigh sample → Place in graphite crucible → Melt at high temperature (helium/argon atmosphere)
2. Gas release:
– O + C → CO
– N → N₂
– H → H₂
3. Converter:
– CO → CO₂
– N₂ and H₂ remain unchanged
4. Gas detection:
① Infrared detector (IR): Detects CO₂ and H₂O
② Adsorption unit: Removes CO₂ and H₂O
③ Thermal conductivity detector (TCD): Detects N₂ and H₂
5. Result output → Obtains O, N, and H content
Applications of Oxygen Nitrogen Hydrogen Analyzer
ONH analyzers have a wide range of applications, primarily in areas requiring strict control of trace gas elements in materials:
- Metallurgical Industry: Core applications include quality control of steel and non-ferrous metals such as titanium and copper, such as monitoring hydrogen embrittlement risk in steel and optimizing the mechanical properties of titanium alloys.
- New Materials R&D: Ensuring the product quality of high-end materials such as 3D printing metal powders, semiconductor silicon wafers, and cemented carbide.
- Aerospace: Strictly controlling gas impurities in critical materials such as high-strength alloys to ensure safety and reliability.
- Electronics: Analyzing trace gases in electronic materials such as neodymium iron boron magnets and sputtering targets to ensure their electrical and magnetic properties.
