Solvent Recovery Device

Solvent Recovery Device

Drawell solvent recovery systems are designed to improve solvent collection during rotary evaporation, reduced-pressure concentration and vacuum distillation. By combining controlled vacuum, secondary condensation and residual-vapor treatment, the system helps recover solvent that may pass through the primary condenser while reducing vapor released into the laboratory environment.

Why Use a Solvent Recovery Device?

Why Use a Solvent Recovery Device
1

Incomplete Primary Condensation

When vacuum pumping is relatively fast, part of the solvent vapor may pass through the primary condenser before being fully recovered.

2

Secondary Solvent Recovery

An additional condenser provides another condensation stage before the vapor reaches the exhaust side.

3

Residual Vapor Treatment

The remaining vapor can be directed to an adsorption unit after condensation.

4

Solvent Collection

Recovered solvent is collected in a dedicated receiving flask for subsequent handling or reuse where appropriate.

Applications of Solvent Recovery Device

  • Rotary Evaporation: Secondary solvent recovery during rotary evaporation and concentration.
  • Solvent Recovery: Additional condensation and collection of solvent vapor.
  • Reduced-Pressure Concentration: Controlled concentration with secondary vapor recovery.
  • Vacuum Distillation: Programmable vacuum control for staged distillation workflows.
  • Corrosive Vapor Handling: Vacuum and adsorption workflows involving compatible acidic or alkaline vapors.

FAQ

It provides secondary condensation and collection of solvent vapor during vacuum evaporation, concentration and distillation workflows.

When solvent vapor is not completely recovered by the primary condenser, an additional condenser provides another recovery stage before exhaust treatment.

An integrated system combines the main vacuum and recovery functions into one unit, while a split-type system uses separate controller, pump and recovery modules.

DW-GMVC-3000RM is specified at 20 L/min, while DWPE-1250A is specified at 30 L/min.

Yes. Both product configurations support staged/programmed vacuum control.

Check whether adsorption is required and whether the selected configuration includes the required adsorption media.

Both systems include corrosion-resistant vacuum components for applicable acidic or alkaline vapor environments.

Both systems include an exhaust-treatment component, but the exact adsorption-media configuration should be confirmed before ordering.
