Operation and Maintenance Tips

For stable performance, install the DW-FTIR-530A in a clean, temperature-controlled laboratory. Recommended working conditions are 10–30°C with humidity below 60%. For longer service life, keep the optical system dry, replace desiccant when needed, avoid corrosive gases near the instrument, and use a moisture-proof box and dehumidifier in humid environments.

Yes. With better than 20,000:1 signal-to-noise ratio, ±0.01 cm⁻¹ wavenumber accuracy, stable optical design, and real-time status diagnosis, it is suitable for routine QC, material verification, and production testing laboratories.

Yes. Single reflection ATR, horizontal ATR, diamond ATR, ZnSe ATR, and other ATR options can be selected according to sample hardness, shape, and testing purpose.

Transmission FTIR allows infrared light to pass through the sample and is often used with KBr pellets, liquid cells, or gas cells. ATR-FTIR measures the sample surface through contact with an ATR crystal, making it faster and more convenient for polymers, rubbers, coatings, oils, and flexible samples.
