DW-K9840 Auto Distiller adopts globally accepted Kjeldahl nitrogen determination method to determine nitrogen content of sample. All intelligent software design makes the sample distillation complete within minutes. The distillation and condensation automatic cleaning system makes the measurement precision further improved.
It is suitable for food, feed, agriculture, soil, environmental, pharmaceutical, research, and quality control laboratories, and can also be used for ammonium and volatile acid or alkali analysis.

FAQ

Check the tightness of all connections including distillation tube, sealing plug and condenser. Ensure the digestion tube is properly connected to the distillation unit. Prevent splashing caused by excessive steam pressure to avoid ammonia escape.

Insufficient cooling of digested sample, too fast alkali addition or excessive steam output. Cool the digest completely before adding alkali, inject sodium hydroxide slowly and reduce steam generation power appropriately.

Insufficient cooling water flow, reversed water pipeline connection or scale accumulated inside condenser. Increase cooling water flow and confirm correct water direction. Regularly clean scale on condenser with acid.

Abnormal water level in steam generator, scaling on heater or air trapped in pipelines. Maintain standard liquid level, descale regularly, and purge air from pipelines before test to ensure steady steam supply.

Crystals form from residual alkali and ammonium salts. Run water cleaning procedure after each batch of tests. Circulate dilute acid for heavy clogging. Do not use hard tools to dredge pipelines to avoid damage to sealing parts.
